New timing of wine shops, liquor bars

JAMMU, Apr 16:  With the onset of summer, the State Excise Department   has ordered change in timing of the wine shops and liquor bars in Jammu division.
According to an order, issued in this regard by the Excise Commissioner, the Wine shops will remain open from 9 a.m to 9.30 pm while the timing of Bar with Hotel, Bar with Banquet Hall and  Bar with Restaurant will be from  10 a m to 11.30 p m.
However, the timing of Bar with club License, Beer Bar or Bar in Officers Mess will be from 10 a m to 11 a m.
The new timing has come into effect from April 15 to October 14, 2016.
