JAMMU, Mar 28: In reference to Government order regarding adjustment of Junior Scale KAS officers of 2012 batch, the General Administration Department has clarified that the officers may be relieved only at the end of the current financial year, ending March 31, 2016, keeping in view the fact that most of these officers are either associated with the activities relating to the disbursement of relief or are functioning as Drawing and Disbursing Officers, particularly in the development oriented departments.
Inviting attention of all the concerned Administrative Secretaries towards the fresh order, the GAD has said that the necessary instructions in this regard may be conveyed to all the concerned Heads of the Departments immediately with a view to obviating the avoidable administrative inconvenience.
It may be recalled that as per the Government order number 267-GAD of 2016 and 268-GAD of 2016, dated 26-03-2016, services of 140 Junior Scale KAS officers of 2012 batch, presently posted in different department, were placed at the disposal of various departments with an instruction that these officers shall be immediately relieved by their respective departments.
