JAMMU, Oct 22: Police today recovered abandoned female baby from the bank of river Tawi, under the jurisdiction of Nowabad Police Station.
Police spokesman said that, the people while immersing ‘Saakh’ in the river Tawi, noticed newly born female baby and informed the police.
On getting information, police party from Nowabad Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the newly born female baby to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared her as brought dead, spokesman added.
