JAMMU, Dec 5: A newly born female baby was tonight found dead along the bed of Tawi River in Belicharana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, some locals today at about 8.30 pm found the dead body of a newly born female baby along Tawi River in Belicharana area and informed the police.
On getting information, a police team from police post Belicharana area reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the baby to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for identification.
A case in this connection has been registered at concerned police station and investigations are underway.
