SUNDERBANI, Nov 27: A newly married youth died on the spot after his bike was hit by a bus coming from Jammu towards Rajouri on National Highway near Rahsiot under Chowki Choura tehsil.
The eyewitnesses said that the bus with registration number, JK02BG- 1439 was over speeding and it overtook a motorcycle bearing registration number JK11G- 5332. It hit the bike at a minor curve and causing serious injuries to its rider namely- Sanjay Kumar, son of Prem Chand, resident of Nala Panchayat, Sunderbani.
He was rushed to nearby hospital at Chowki Choura where he was declared as brought dead. Sanjay Kumar who had got married only a week ago, still had ‘Mehndi’ on his hands. The police seized the both vehicles and registered a case in this connection.
