UDHAMPUR, May 30: A newly married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her parental house at village Damnote, Tehsil Pancheri, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Marima Begum (19), wife of Arshad, official said, adding that the woman was married few days back and had visited her parental house.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to PHC Pancheri, where after conducting autopsy, the body has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Concerned police has taken cognizance in this regards.
