JAMMU, Sept 18: In order to cater to the demands of locals, former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) toured Gurha, Qasim Nagar and adjoining areas of Ward 28 in Jammu West Assembly segment and interacted with hundreds of inhabitants there.
It may be recalled that a deputation hailing from the Ward met the former MLA and asked him to conduct an extensive tour in the Ward in order to overcome the problems faced by the residents. Sharma was accompanied by district general secretary, Rajesh Gupta, Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, district secretary, Ravi Kant Sharma and many others including many inhabitants of the Ward.
Interacting with people, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful tour was conducted in the Ward in which maximum households participated and stated their problems. He said the main problem in the area was related to sanitation and construction of some lanes for which the concerned Department has been notified which will start the tendering process of the works so that proper infrastructure could be provided to the inhabitants at their doorsteps.
He stated that to strengthen the vision of our hard working Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and to achieve the mission of “Swach Bharat”, it is the duty of every citizen to contribute some of its time to work for this noble cause and he also appealed everyone to come forward in achieving this goal. “Swach Bharat Hoga toh Swasth Bharat Hoga”, he added.
Sharma also stated that BJP has delivered its best to the masses of Jammu and Kashmir and people trust in the pro public policies of the party and surely BJP will have its Chief Minister in the upcoming elections in the UT.
