The gathering resolved to appeal to the Kashmiri Pandit community to refrain from filling these forms until they are properly rehabilitated in their motherland-the Kashmir Valley and after consultation with genuine community representatives.
Concerns were voiced about the practicality and implications of filling the NFSA forms. A key question emerged: how can individuals with no permanent address and holding temporary ration cards be asked to fulfil this obligation? During the proceedings, an elderly displaced individual, Shadi Lal, posed pressing questions to the authorities, urging them to educate the community on the pros and cons of the NFSA forms before expecting compliance. The gathering was addressed by several prominent figures, including Hira Lal Pandita,Veer Jee Raina, Ravinder Koul, Bharat Kachroo, Ramesh Kumar, Sunil Bhat, Sunil Pandita,Comrade Mohan Lal Raina, Chuni Lal Kandi, Sanjeev Kumar, Vimal Hangloo, Manohar Nath, and others.

While appreciating the Government of India’s “One Nation, One Ration Card” initiative as a progressive step, he strongly urged authorities not to impose this requirement on a community still grappling with displacement and exile.
Kuldeep Kashmiri further highlighted the resilience and achievements of the younger generation of Kashmiri Pandits who, despite adversities have excelled in various fields globally thereby preserving the legacy of their ancestors. He called for unity within the community, urging them to await a clear policy from the concerned authorities and insights from opinion makers and leaders before making a decision.
