KATHUA, Aug 4: All Jammu and Kashmir Non-Gazetted (NG) Forest Officers Association staged a protest demonstration at Division Office Kathua and projected their long pending demands, here.
The protest was held under the supervision of Narinder Singh Sumbria, Divisional President Kathua, Senior Vice President Prithipaul Singh and Advisor Om Parkash.
The protesters demanded immediate redressal of pay anomaly and the provision of risk allowances, two and a half days salary and periodic DPC of the employees.
While appealing the Government for early redressal of their genuine demands, the protesters said that the failure of the concerned authorities in solving their long pending issues may force them to hold indefinite strike under the aegis of Central Body of NGFOA.
