NGAGA expresses concern over delay in settling of demands

JAMMU, Feb 23: Non Gazetted Agriculture Graduates Association (NGAGA), has expressed serious concern over the failure of Government in fulfilling the long pending demands of promoting officers working at the same post for the last 27 years.
Talking to media persons here today, president of the Association Arun Gupta said that the pay anomaly file is gaining dust in the department and it has not been cleared till date despite repeated pleas.
He however said that the file pertaining to declaration of quasi permanent was cleared by the Director of the Agriculture after the Association members took up the issue with him.
He however expressed the hope that the issues of pay anomaly and DPC will be settled soon as the Association has vigorously taken up the issue with the authorities. He complimented his team for the cooperation rendered by it especially in getting the Junior Agriculture Assistants JAAs re-designated as Junior Agriculture Extension Officers).
Vice president of the Association, Darshan Sharma, its general secretary Kesar Durani, joint secretary, Kuldeep Bassan, cashier, Chander Shekhar, ex president Ajay Sharma, Raghubir Chand, Ravi Sharma, S Bupinder Singh, Rohit Gandotra and Varinder Dogra were also present in the press conference.
