JAMMU, Dec 5: A meeting of All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers’ Association (NGFOA) was held today here at Forest Campus, Dogra Hall under the chairmanship of Bashir Ahmed, State president and Ravi Kumar, Provincial president, Jammu, to discuss their demands.
The main demands discussed in the meeting were regularization of daily wagers of Khamil and Anantnag divisions, settlement of SRO 43 cases, clearing medical claims of employees and regularization of left over 935 daily wagers of the department.
The association also appealed the Forest Minister for removal of pay anomaly of the employees and payment of two and a half days salary and risk allowance to the employees serving in Ladakh.
