JAMMU, Aug 28 : A deputation of Non-Gazetted Handicrafts Employees Association (NGHEA) led by its president, Subhash Chander Sharma, today met Director, Handicrafts, Ganzaffer Ali at Jammu and discussed various issues of Handicraft employees.
The demands put forth before the Director include conducting long pending DPC meeting, release of pending interest subsidy of the artisans for the last three years, besides release of funds to meet out the requirement of 5th installment of 6th Pay Commission and pending liabilities of Vouchers for purchase of raw material, shifting of training centres, maintaining of Carpet Looms in Carpet Centres, etc.
The Director assured the deputation to settle their demands as early as possible.
Mulkh Raj, Pushpinder Singh, Dhanvir Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Surinder Kumar and many others were part of the deputation.
