JAMMU, Dec 28: In order to help the poor and needy people of the society, Healthy India Stronger India (HISI-NGO) organised a donation camp here today.
On the occasion, Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, HISI along with members of NGO distributed warm suits, blankets, books, notebooks, bags and stationery items among the needy people.
Student community and their parents expressed gratitude to chairman of NGO for donating study material, that they would use to build a better future. Ladies were overwhelmed to receive warm suits.
They said that the suits were much needed to tolerate the extreme chill of winter month. Receivers of blankets, happily opened the packets and covered themselves with blankets to reduce the shivering winter.
The prominent people who were present during the camp included President Kashyap Rajput Biradari Ram Labhaya, General Secretary Jeet Raj, Manzoor Hussian, Vishal Sharma, Sardar Dalbir Singh, Prabha Slathia, Ashok Khajuria, Akhil Sharma, Nirmal Singh, Ramneek Sharma and Joginder Singh.
