NGO LFO-BHF organises stationery distribution drive

JAMMU, Mar 12: Live For Others – Being Helpful Foundation (LFO-BHF), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), organized a stationery distribution drive to support the education of underprivileged children.
The initiative “MISSION MAKE” – Make All Kids Educated, supported by Talla Jewellers, is aimed at providing basic education and healthcare to children living in slums.
During the drive, LFO-BHF volunteers distributed stationery kits that included pencils, erasers, sharpeners, colors, notebooks, and some eatables such as maggie, biscuits, toffees, and chocolates. The kits were given to children enrolled in the initiative at Birma Pull, Udhampur.
A press statement said that LFO-BHF has been educating less fortunate children for more than a year and is committed to providing free basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
“The organization focuses on helping children who are facing difficult circumstances such as child labor, children of poor parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster-struck children, and slum children. Special emphasis is given to girl and women education to empower them and their families,” read the statement.
Vivek Parihar, Director and CEO of LFO-BHF, expressed his commitment to the education of underprivileged children and said, “our NGO is committed to educating underprivileged children who are facing difficult circumstances.”
Vishal Singh, Director and COO of LFO-BHF, explained the organization’s vision, “our vision is to work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children with a life-cycle approach to development.”
