JAMMU, Oct 25: J&K Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association (NGSEA), projected their demands and urged upon the newly appointed Director General B R Lachotra to resolve their long pending issues.
In a meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of P S Jamwal- state president, the members discussed the issues of the cadre including promotion of Assistant Directors, Section Officers and SAs to the rank of SOs. It was decided to further pursue the issues at the directorate as well as at the administrative level for early redressal.
The Association also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary for creation of the post of DG, Economics and Statistics in J&K and elevating Mr Lachotra as new DG of the department.
