JAMMU, Dec 21: President, J&K Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association (NGSEA), PS Jamwal along with vice-president, Showkat A Shah and General Secretary, Ravinder Singh, met BR Lachotra, Director, Economics and Statistics, J&K, and had detailed discussion with him over pending issues.
They also submitted a memorandum of demands to the Director, which includes demands like removal of Pay Anomaly of Junior Assistants and Statistical Assistants, reorganization of Planning cadre, Joint Seniority of JSA’s and SA’s from January 2012, filling of vacant posts at all levels and immediate DPC’s at all levels.
Lachotra assured the Association that no stone would be left unturned in resolving the pending issues of the Planning Cadre and passed on spot instructions to the administrative officer and section officers to initiate action in this regard.
Meanwhile, the body for District Rajouri was constituted under the chairmanship of State president, PS Jamwal in the presence of general secretary, Ravinder Singh and other office bearers.
The Body comprised of Khursheed Lone as president, Farooq Ahmed as vice-president, Shahzad Mir as secretary, Zaffer Hussain as cashier and Vishal Vishwa Karma as publicity secretary.
