JAMMU, Feb 27: A delegation of J&K Non Gazetted Statistical Employees Association (NGSEA) led by its president PS Jamwal met Director General Economics and Statistics RA Bandey.
A detailed discussion was made on various issues including clearance of DPCs both at Gazetted and Non-Gazetted level, promotion of Sts Officers, Sts Assistants and Jr Sts assistants to next higher grade, restoration of Assistant Director Planning as Manager Economic Investigation (EI) in District Industries Centre’s (DIC’s), reorganization of Gazetted/Non-Gazetted Statistical Personnel, abolition of training course at Sts Officers level, issuance of seniority lists of JSA’s, Sts Assistants and Sts Officers, declaration of results of JSA/SAs, promotions of Sts Officers as per proportion to the strength of each cadre, Employees Welfare Fund for Planning/Sts Personnel, specialized training for Sts Officers outside State, Vigilance clearance of Ad’s/Sts officers and clearance of in-situ promotions.
The delegation urged RA Bandey to redress the issues at the earliest.
