SRINAGAR, May 18: According to Inspector General of Police Traffic, the traffic on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway 1A will remain suspended on May 21 in connection with repairs of the damaged road stretches at Magarkote and Peerah.
“All the commuters/transporters are requested not to take up journey on this date as movement of any type of vehicle, either from Jammu or Srinagar, shall not be allowed,” he said and added the closure of traffic movement has become inevitable to enable the maintenance agencies to take up maintenance and widening of the road.
