NHAI supervisor dies due to wall collapse

RAMBAN, May 30: A National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) supervisor died due to wall collapse outside Chenani-Nashri tunnel, here today.
As per police sources, a NHAI supervisor identified as Sahil Bhardwaj (26), son of Ragunath, a resident of Batote died, when a protection wall on the outer side of the Chenani-Nashri tunnel fell on him.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the critically injured victim to Sher-e-Kashmir Memorial Emergency Hospital Batote, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
In this regard, a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Batote police station and investigation started.
