JAMMU, Jan 30: A deputation of National Health Mission (NHM) employees today met Principal Secretary Health, Atal Dullu at his office in Civil Secretariat Jammu and discussed their demands while as the strike and protest of the employees entered into 17th day today.
During the meeting, all the demands of the employees were discussed as mentioned in their charter of demands. After through discussion, the Principal Secretary assured employees to fulfill their all genuine demands as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the protest and strike of NHM employees continued for the 17th consecutive day today, demanding redressal of their grievances. Hundreds of employees assembled at Press Club Jammu and raised slogans in favour of their demands including regularization of services, implementation of ‘equal pay for equal work’ orders apart from accord to ‘social security benefits’.
Employees from Kashmir valley also reached the venue and participated in the protest.
