JAMMU, Jan 29: NHM employees including medical officers, paramedics and management staff here today organized a meeting to establish a new divisional-level body of JKNHMEA to highlight challenges faced by NHM employees in Jammu Division.
The voting process for framing the new body was conducted under the supervision of Ashok Choudhary, Sangathan Mantri Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS); Neelim, general secretary BMS; Harbans Choudhary, president BMS; Bharat Bhushan Sharma, president Bhartiya Vikas Parishad; Babu Hussan, president EJAC J&K and Darvinder, president J&K Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF).
After voting, leadership for new divisional body was announced with Rohit Seth as president; Dr. Nazir Hussain, general secretary; Sarita and Naushad Ahmed-both vice presidents; Sajjad, Cashier/ Treasurer; Pooja, Ajay Choudhary, Nargis and Shabnam Sehni-secretaries and Parminder and Dr. Raman-both advisors.
The new body plans to further expand its strength in future by adding more members.
