REASI, Mar 11: In its mission to bring all categories of employees under the ambit of the National Health Mission (NHM) on one platform, a one day district level convention of NHM employees of the district Reasi was held at Conference Hall of the District Hospital.
The meeting was presided over by senior NHM representatives of Jammu Division including senior vice president Jammu Faizan Ali Tramboo, general secretary Ajay Sharma and senior advisor Jammu Shiv Sandeep Singh, and was attended by Medical Officers and Paramedical Staff of the different blocks of the district.
More than 150 employees actively took part in the convention during which speakers raised various issues related to the welfare of the NHM employees and meaningful solutions to their issues.
In their address, Faizan A Tramboo, Ajay Sharma and Shiv Sandeep Singh stated that with the support of our fellow employees, they are working towards resolving the pending cases and particularly focussing on various concerns.
The leaders highlighted the current working environment and the scenario in which the employees are working and underscored the need for proper planning for the betterment of the fraternity. They also threw light on the problems being faced by the employees and debated the methods to be adopted to arrive at solutions.
Among others who spoke on the occasion were Madhur Bharti, Dr Vikas Sharma, Dr Kousar Rana, Mukesh Kumar, Parul Gandotra, Sumeet Sawhney, Dr Neelam Bharti, Rubika Paul, Sarika Sharma and Pardeep Bali.
