NHM employees meet LG; project issues

SRINAGAR, Feb 7: The National Health Mission (NHM) employees were today assured that the Governor’s administration was keen in resolving their issues along with other contractual employees working in various Government Departments.
A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission Employees comprising of Dr Naveed Malik, Vice President of the association, Abdul Rouf, Spokesperson of the association and Idrees Mustafa met Lieutenant Governor G C Murmu and apprized him of the issues being confronted by the NHM employees.
As per the delegation, the LG-during a public outreach program held at SKICC-assured them that their issues are being taken seriously by the Government and that their issues along with other contractual employees will be resolved soon.
He was also briefed by the delegation about the Group of Officer which will look into their regularization. The LG told them that the mandate will be given to the Group so that issue is resolved. “He assured us that all the issues will be solved soon,” the delegation said.
After meeting the LG, the delegation expressed its hopefulness that their issues-which are now lingering around for quite a long time now-will be resolved in a time bound manner.
