Psychiatric Hospital Jammu bags 1st position

JAMMU, Oct 25: Psychiatric Disease Hospital Jammu and District Hospital Samba have won top position in the category of Associated Hospitals of Government Medical Colleges and District Hospitals, respectively as National Health Mission Jammu & Kashmir has released ranking of Public Health facilities for the month of September on the basis of JK e-Sahaj (Hospital Management System of J&K) portal.
Official sources told Excelsior that the ranking to the Government hospitals has been assigned in different categories i.e. Associated Hospitals (AHs) of Government Medical Colleges, District Hospitals, CHCs and PHCs. They said the ranking has been done on the basis of registration, conversion of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and Patient feedback uploaded on the portal of JK e-Sahaj for the month of September 2022, on real time basis.
Sources said the first rank in the category of Associated Hospitals of Government Medical Colleges, has been clinched by Psychiatric Disease Hospital Jammu followed by Chest Disease Hospital Jammu, Government Dental College Srinagar, Bone & Joint Hospital Srinagar and Government Medical College Kathua.
In the category of District Hospitals, they said first rank has been bagged by District Hospital Samba followed by District Hospital Poonch, District Hospital Bandipora, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar (Jammu) and District Hospital Kulgam.
Similarly, they said, the first rank in the category of Community Health Centres (CHCs) has been clinched by CHC Seer, followed by CHC Bijbehara, CHC Yaripora and Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, Jammu and CHC Kreeri whereas in the category of Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and UPHCS, first rank has been bagged by PHC Kakapora followed by PHC Aishmuqam, PHC Zadibal, PHC Mattan and PHC Boniyar.
Pertinent to mention here that Jammu and Kashmir has started implementation of Hospital Management Information System which is named as JK e -Sahaj (Electronic System for Automation of Hospital Administration J&K) in different types of facilities i.e. Tertiary care, District Hospitals, Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres and some new type of PHCs.
In first phase of implementation, 575 facilities have been covered under this initiative and will be further extended to other facilities in phased manner. JK E -Sahaj has been integrated with Rapid Assessment System (RAS) and 104 Centralized Health Helpline for outbound calling.
