NHMEA delegation takes up grievances with MoS Finance

JAMMU, Apr 18: A delegation of All J&K NHM Employees Association (NHMEA), district Reasi, led by its president, Dr Verinder Gupta, today met Minister of State (MoS) for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda, and discussed various problems being faced by NHM employees of the State.
Dr Gupta highlighted several issues confronted by them and sought immediate intervention of the State Government particularly Finance Minister for the appropriate disposal.
The demands that were discussed with the Minister include framing out a draft policy of regularization for all NHM employees, incentives for paramedics, yearly 10% enhancement of salary, job security, maternity leave benefit for female staff, equal pay for equal work and fixed monthly salary for ASHAs.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured to consider their genuine demands for proper redressal.
Vice-president, NHMEA, Dr Pankaj Sharma, Dr Arun Deol, Dr Rajiv Sharma, Parul Gandotra, Dr Vijayata, Dr Artee Sharma, Madhur Bharati, Amit Raina, Raj Vijay, Waseem Ahmed, Yogesh and Shiv Sandeep Singh were part of the delegation.
