Jammu, Aug 8: Annual Machail Mata Yatra has begun, in which lakhs of devotees will pay their obeisance to the Goddess Chandi Mata. On this auspicious occasion, Dulhasti Power Station of NHPC has provided sanitary items for the devotees for their comfortable journey.
Dulhasti Power Station under the scheme of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development has provided nearly Rs. 90000/- material for sanitary purposes. In which 10 no. of toilets of Western and Indian type, 5 each for men and women, Five water proof toilet tent, PVC pipes and other hardware equipment for drainage have been provided. Chief Engineer Harish Bulchandani has handed over the material to Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha, management of Machail Mata Yatra.
Convener of Machail Mata Yatra, Sewa Ram Gulhari has said that, these kinds of equipment and initiatives will certainly be helpful in making the Yatra more comfortable for pilgrims.
