JAMMU, Aug 1: The National Hydroelectric Power Commission (NHPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) to provide assistance to 1000 Divyangjans under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the NHPC.
Under the MoU singed at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad by the Group Deputy General Manager (HR), CSR&SD, NHPC and General Manager Marketing, ALIMCO in presence of Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC, the NHPC will provide CSR support for the distribution of aids and assistive devices to around 100 Divyangjans in the vicinity of NHPC Projects located in North and North Eastern States.
Executive Director (CSR & SD), NHPC, senior officers from NHPC CSR&SD Divisions and ALIMCO were also present on the occasion.
