Principal says staff serving humanity

JAMMU, Mar 9: National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India in association with the Principal GMC Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma organised recreational activities for the doctors and nurses of the medical college in the GMC Auditorium.
Various studies have discovered that day to day routine working in the hospital, while treating patients at all hours creates a certain underlying stress in the life of doctors & Nurses. This stress leads to deterioration in the performance and also leads to development of medical conditions like hypertension, diabetes etc.
To help alleviate this stress, NGO SUPPORT organised various recreational activities in their place of work like Tambola, lucky Draw, Bingo to help release the stress and pressures of their work place.
Principal GMC Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma said , “We are very proud of our doctors, staff and paramedical staff for their accomplishments and their efforts to serve the nation & humanity in the field of health care services”.
