Srinagar, Nov 13: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today attached the property of Adil Manzoor Langoo in Srinagar’s Zaldagar area allegedly involved in the killing of migrant workers.

Langoo is accused in the fatal shooting of two non-local labourers in February in the Shalla Kadal area. The action was taken under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The victims, Amrit Pal Singh and Rohit Masih from Amritsar, Punjab, were attacked at close range, resulting in Singh’s immediate death, while Masih succumbed to his injuries the following day.
“He has been framed. He was a labourer and was not associated with any organization. He does not know anything about it (killings). They came and took him away. We want justice. This house belongs to his grandparents”, Langoo’s sister said.
