SRINAGAR: The NIA probe into the alleged role of separatists in funding terror activities will reveal the truth about their role in “death and destruction” in the valley, Jammu and Kashmir police chief S P Vaid said today.
He also appealed to politicians to refrain from making statements that could provoke the younger generation from taking up the gun.
“I am of the belief that the people of Kashmir have a right to know as to who is the merchant of their death and destruction. There is bloodshed, schools are being burnt, there is terrorism, so if anyone is indulging in deals on that, he must be brought to book,” the DGP said.
He was speaking to reporters at a function in Baramulla to reward and honour jawans and policemen who had contributed in anti-militancy operations in north Kashmir. (AGENCIES)
