NEW DELHI, Mar 11: Nickel futures prices fell 0.27 per cent, to Rs 906.80 per kg today as speculators trimmed their positions amid weakness in metal at the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in March traded Rs 2.50, or 0.27 per cent, lower at Rs 906.80 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,703 lots.
The metal for delivery in April declined by Rs 1.40, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 914.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 145 lots.
Market participants said apart from sluggish demand from alloy makers, weakness in base metal at the LME put pressure on Nickel future prices. (PTI)
