NILM conducts GMST

JAMMU, May 28: As part of its first phase of conducting General Meritorious Scholarship Test (GMST) in Jammu district, National Incredible Literacy Mission (NILM), Jammu, today conducted GMST in Government Higher Secondary School, Paloura, Light House Public School, Pacca Danga and Indra Convent Public School, Barnai.
“More than 100 students participated in the test”, Project Director, NILM, Jammu, Rakeshwar Singh said, adding the scholarship test is going to help meritorious students in their academic career.
He further said that their NGO will provide scholarship of Rs 5000 to every position holder for one year and books, notebooks with uniform will be provided to the meritorious students from their NGO for one year.
“These tests will be conducted in maximum Government and private schools of Jammu district”, said Chairman, NILM, KD Kurhan, who has taken the charge of Examination Head of NILM for smooth conduct of scholarship exams. He added that their positive efforts will lead to better opportunities of learning to intelligent students of Jammu region.
