JAMMU, Aug 22: State general secretary of J&K Pradesh Youth Congress, Nimrandeep Singh Bullar has been honoured with Young Leadership Award by the Indian Youth Congress (IYC).
A function in this connection was held at Delhi the other day where Nimrandeep was felicitated for his hard work by the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Jawahar Bhawan. This programme was organized to facilitate young leaders from throughout the country.
Nimrandeep Singh, incharge of District Jammu Urban has been honoured with National best Young Leaderdership Award for his hard work and effective participation with Election preparedness team .
Singh was awarded by the former Union Minister & Uttrakhand Ex-CM Harish Rawat and MP Rajya Sabha, Jai Ram Ramesh in presence of Indian Youth Congress National president, BV Srinivas.
“You are the future leaders who will need to pick up the baton on issues such as climate change, food security, equality and access to education, women security, employment and all such issues which are in the interest of Country and their citizens,” Harish Rawat told the winners .
He also appreciated the role of Nimrandeep Singh for his hardwork and effective participation with Election Preparedness team. He praised the working of Singh as a youth coordinator in Punjab State elections and as a state Shakti Incharge. He further said that party high command shall always boost the moral of hard worker in the party by organizing such events.
Singh, who hails from border area, belongs to a family with non-political background, started his political career as a Social activist. He remained as an Assembly president of Youth Congress (Suchetgarh), general secretary of Youth Congress (Jammu- Poonch Lok-Sabha) and elected as a State general secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh youth Congress in 2018. Singh said that he feel honoured that a common man like him was recognized by the Party at National level.
