JAMMU, Feb 14: Spine Master’s unit from Neurological Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Jalandhar, today organized a free mega check up camp in Goel Hospital, here.
Around 200 patients came with the complaint of backache, neck pain, difficultly in walking, headache and seizvge disorders. During the camp, blood sugar examination, ECG and bone density tests were done free of cost on the needy patients.
At the same time, costly diagnostic tests like MRI and CT Scan were done on the needy patients with 25% rebate at a local Radiological Centre with which NIMS unit had tied up.
Dr Pankaj from NIMS informed that the patients who required surgery will be done under ‘Spine Master’s unit in NIMS, Jalandhar, at a low cost.
He further informed that the next free check up camp will be held on February 28 at the same venue. Dr Gautam Goel, owner of Goel Hospital, Jammu was also present on the occasion.
