Nine school students injured, man killed in accidents across Jammu

 

JAMMU:  Nine students were injured, while a man died in separate road accidents across Jammu region today.

    “A van this afternoon on way  to Kud from Batote carrying students of Global Convent School Batote rolled down near Sandokhu Morh,” SSP Ramban Mohan Lal here said.

    He said nine students were injured, out of them seven have been discharged after treatment and two injured children have been shifted to Kud Hospital.

    The driver of the vehicle has fled from the spot, while a case has been registered and investigation started.

    In a separate incident, an information was received that one Tata Mobile loaded with horse was on way from Katra towards Reasi on reaching near High School Agharjittoo met with an accident and rolled down into a nallah, police here said.

    They said that one person namely Aahiq Ali, son of Bhagu, resident of Kandyar and two horses succumbed to injuries on the spot, while the two other persons and a horse were injured.

    A case has been registered and investigation started. (UNI)
