BATOTE, June 24: Sant Nirankari Mandal organized its 5th voluntary blood donation camp here, wherein they donated 140 units of blood.
The camp was organized in the sweet memory of Baba Gurbachan Singhji Maharaj who sacrificed his life for truth and humanity. Devotees of the mission from district Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar participated in this divine opportunity and sought blessings of his holiness to serve the mankind and spread the message of Babaji that “ Blood should flow in veins and not in drains”.
The camp was inaugurated and presided over by Rev Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Jammu and Kashmir, Sant Nirankari Mandal. Rev Mulkh Raj, Pramukh, Sant Nirankari Mandal, branch Batote welcomed the devotees, prominent citizens, hospital authorities, volunteers of the mission and presented vote of thanks.
The blood donation camp was held in collaboration with blood and transfusion department of Government Medical College, Jammu under the supervision of Dr Vijay Sahwney.
