Nirankari Mission organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, Aug 18: Sant Nirankari Mission, branch Samba organized a voluntarily blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Samba where followers of the faith from branch Rajpura and Ghagwal also participated.
A total of 155 units of blood were donated in the camp which was inaugurated by Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Samba.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma applauded the efforts of Nirankari Mission towards humanity.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge Sant Nirankari Mission Jammu said with the blessing of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji nearly 600 camps have been organized by the Mission throughout the year pan India.
He also highlighted other socio-economic activities of the Mission
Earlier, K.C Bhagat, Mukhi Samba delivered welcome address.
Other dignitaries presented on the occasion were Ranjeet Singh, MD SC/ST/BC Corporation and Dr. Naveen Akhtar from Blood Bank GMC Jammu.
The camp was held in collaboration with Blood & Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu, District Hospital Samba and JKSACS.
