JAMMU, Feb 3; The 300th Nirvan Diwas of Mata Roopbhawani was observed with religious fervour and gaiety today. In this connection religious functions and Maha Yagyas were performed at different places by devotees of Mata.
A religious function was organized by Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust, Tirath Nagar Talab Tillo which was attended by a large number of devotees from different parts of Jammu.
The celebrations were simultaneously held by devotees of Mata at Delhi, Pune, Maharashtra, Chennai (TN), Hyderabad, (Telangana) Chashma Sahibi, Srinagar and Manigam in Ganderbal etc of Kashmir Valley.
At Talab Tillo Temple of Mata a Maha Yagya was held which started yesterday and culminated with Puranahuti today. It was attended by religious scholars and devotees of Mata. The special attraction of the celebrations was live transmission on Trust and Ykunth Mandli face book by renowned singer Naina Saproo and Dr Ramesh with their group. The Puranahuti was followed by distribution of prashad.
Another function was held at the temple of Mata at Sharda Colony, Patoli Brahmana where a large number of devotees participated. On the occasion a Hawan was held which was followed by serving of Prashad to devotees. A Bhajan Kirtan was also held by Santosh Nadan a renowned poetess and writer. She threw light on the life and teachings of Mata Roopbhawani.
Meanwhile, in connection with the 400th birth anniversary of Mata Shree Roopbhawani, the Global Helping Hand (GHH) under its mission “Aarogya ka Abhishek” has started live streaming of demonstrative lecturers on varies health issues in association with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Super Specialty Hospital, Kakriyal, Katra.
In this connection J K Raina Reshi, president GHH launched the Save Women Save Universe through Webinar on topic Cervical Cancer.
On this occasion Col (retd) G K Raina patron GHH gave all Kudos to SMVD Super Specialty Hospital for initiating the lecture series.
Dr Shemmu Shoukat , Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology , SMVD Hospital was main speaker in the Webinar who gave detailed lecture on the topic Cervical Cancer. Yoginder Kaul (retd) IGP initiator and Director GHH appealed women to take extra care of themselves.
