NEW DELHI, Dec 5: Nita Ambani, the Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, was bestowed with the prestigious “Sports Leader of the Year – Female” Award.
In this regard an award function was organised by the CII Sports business awards 2023 here today.
This accolade recognizes her exceptional leadership in propelling India’s sports narrative to new heights.
Furthermore, Reliance Foundation itself was lauded with the “Best Corporate Promoting Sports in India” award, setting a new standard for corporate excellence in sports.
Their efforts have not only brought laurels to the nation but have also significantly contributed to nurturing young talent and promoting sports at various levels across the country.
In response to these accolades, Nita M. Ambani expressed her gratitude and honor.
In a handout issued, she stated, “I am humbled and honored to accept the CII Sports Business Awards for ‘Sports Leader of the Year’ and ‘Best Corporate Promoting Sports in India”.

Our athletes have made the nation proud globally by winning laurels in multiple sports. Additionally, we brought the Olympic Movement back to India after 40 years by hosting the 141st International Olympic Committee Session in Mumbai,” she said.
