Nitish should apologise, resign: Sanjita Dogra

JAMMU, Nov 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir held a massive protest demonstration against the derogatory remarks on women by the Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar.
Led by J&K Mahila Morcha president, Sanjita Dogra, the Morcha office bearers and activists had assembled at Kachi Chawni Chowk to express their anger and resentment against Nitish Kumar. They were holding placards with slogans condemning the vulgar and insulting utterances against the women. They were also raising slogans “Nitish Kumar Sharam Karo, Sharam Karo (Shame on you Nitish Kumar)” and “Nitish Kumar Istifa Do”.
Sanjita Dogra, while addressing the protestors said that whatever Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar has said is insult of the entire female community and needs to be condemned in the strongest words. She said that the CM should immediately seek unconditional apology and step down to maintain the dignity of the chair.
Sanjita Dogra said that Nitish Kumar is a seasoned politician and prominent social figure and his remarks have lowered his stature and brought widespread shame on him. She said that the Mahila Morcha in entire J&K UT is holding protest on the issue and will not sit quite till Nitish Kumar does not resign as Chief Minister.
Anita Gandotra, Bipna Manhas, Reema Padha, Reeta Kotwal, Meenakshi Jamwal, Neeru Anand and others were amongst the prominent women leaders present on the occasion.
