JAMMU, Dec 7: In a significant step towards fostering collaboration between academia and industry, NITS Polytechnic College, Jammu, has signed a transformative tri-party Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AHAsolar Technologies Ltd, a prominent Gujarat-based company, and iGrowGreen Academy Pvt Ltd.
This agreement sets the stage for a dynamic partnership aimed at narrowing the gap between theoretical knowledge acquired in academic settings and the practical skills demanded by the evolving industries.
Under this agreement, NITS Polytechnic College, Jammu, AHAsolar Technologies Ltd and iGrowGreen Academy Pvt Ltd will collaborate on various initiatives, including skill development programs to enhance the employability of students by providing industry-relevant training, collaborating on research projects that address industry challenges and contribute to technological advancements, facilitating internships and industrial exposure for students, enabling them to gain hands-on experience and practical insights, regularly reviewing and updating the curriculum to align with industry requirements, organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas between academia and industry experts.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by factuality of NITS Polytechnic College, Jammu, representatives from AHAsolar Technologies Ltd and iGrowGreen Academy Pvt Ltd.
Savinder Gupta, Principal of NITS Polytechnic College, Jammu, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating: “This partnership is a significant stride towards ensuring our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge demanded by the industries. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration that benefits both our students and the industry partners.”
