CHANDIGARH: Emphasizing the need to work with a holistic approach to transform the healthcare system of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said besides the preventive care, the Central Government is giving special emphasis on generating new infrastructure facilities.
A decision has been taken to open 75 new medical colleges in the country which would not only ensure better treatment facilities to the people but also create 16,000 additional seats of MBBS, the Prime Minister said while addressing the people at a programme organised in Panchkula, near here, through video conferencing from Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi, on Friday.
