JAMMU, Apr 19: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) urged the Government to release the pending installments of 8 per cent DA due from last January in favour of Government employees and pensioner.
This was stated by Subash Shastri, president, NMC while addressing meeting of activists here today.
Shastri said that the salaried class has been facing hardships, due to high inflation and price rise and urged the Government to release the DA at the earliest.
He also stressed on the need for the formulation of National Pay Policy through out the country.
Among others who spoke were Rajan Babu Khajuria, Sham Lal Sharma, Rakesh Padha, Anil Singh Slathia, Subash Sharma, Sunil Kochhar, Barkat Ram, etc.
