NMC’s appeal to Guv

JAMMU, Oct 19: Appealing Governor for releasing October month salary and pension viz 5 per cent DA installment due from July 2019 in favor of the employees of the State Government and pensioners beside releasing all pending wages of the daily rated workers well before Diwali festival, President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today hoped that governor Satya Pal Malik will address these demands at the earliest, so that these categories of employees and pensioners and working class can celebrate their festivals without any financial hick-up.
Early release of advance salary, pension, wages and pending installment of 5 per cent DA will go a long way in providing a sigh relief by the Governor administration which has already taken in hand employees friendly decision for the welfare of this fraternity, he added.
Shastri also demanded early and speedy disposal towards the regularization of daily rated workers, working in the various departments of the State Government and enhancing medical allowance to State pensioners to Rs 1000 per month on the pattern of Central Government pensioners.
Several resolutions were adopted on occasion including setting up of National Wage Commission evolving national wage policy throughout the country once for all and enhancing wages of the daily rated workers to Rs 600 per day.
