JAMMU, Oct 28: Nirmal Mahajan Charitable Trust (NMCT) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its Trustee president Nirmal Mahajan and decided to distribute scholarship to 14 students of various schools.
The students, who will get scholarship include Nisha and Mahesh Joshi of Arya Kanya Vidyalaya, Purani Mandi, Janvi and Subash Kumar of Arya Girls High School, Kachi Chawni, Neha and Preeti Kumari of Government School, Railway Colony, Gita Devi and Bishna Kumari of Government High School, Gandhi Nagar, Ayushi Gupta and Asha Kumari of Shree Ved Mandir Bal Niketan Ambphalla, Ganesh Singh and Dharvinder Singh of SOS Children Home Channi Rama, Mehak Mehra and Mitra Tikoo of Louis Brial Memorial Sightless School, Roop Nagar.
The trust has also decided to donate Rs 5,000 to Nar Sewa-Narayan Sewa Sansthan for the operation of one person every year and also decided to donate 10 blankets to the poor and needy patients.
