JAMMU, Oct 13: Nirmal Mahajan Charitable Trust (NMCT) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its trustee president Nirmal Mahajan and decided to distribute the scholarship among twenty students of various schools.
The beneficiaries of the scholarship are Monika Devi and Mamta Devi of Shree Ved Mandir Bal Niketan Ambphalla, Ajay Rathore of Mahavir Jain School Kachi Chowni, Vikas Kumar of Bal Bharti Public School, Channi Rama, Nisha Devi and Yougesh Sawhney of Arya Kanya Vidyalaya Purani Mandi, Varsha Wadera and Maniya Prihar of Gurmat Kanya Pathshala, Saniya Kumar and Polak of Arya Public School Kachi Chawni, Veena Kumari and Joyti of Government Girls High School City Chowk, Bishnah and Chandni of Government Girl High School Gandhi Nagar, Geeta and Suraj Kumar of Government Middle School Railway Colony, Bharti Sharma and Shilpa Sharma of School for Hearing Handicapped, Mahak and Saira of Louis Brail Memorial Sightless School Roop Nagar.
In the meeting, it was also decided that Rs 5000 will be donated to Nar Sewa Naryan Sewa Sansthan situated at Udaipur, Rajasthan for operation of one person every year.
It was also proposed to donate 10 blankets to Susheela Sadan, Mubarak Mandi, 15 to Home for Handicapped, Udaywala and 15 to needy, poor and deserving living on footpath.
