JAMMU, Nov 4: Presidents and general secretaries of different Bazaar Associations today decided not to observe the bandh on November 6.
In a joint meeting, the presidents and general secretaries of different Bazaar Associations have termed the bandh call given by Chamber of Traders Federation as un-justified. “We have not been taken into confidence before taking the decision about bandh”, they said, adding “this is not the appropriate time for bandh as Jhiri Mela is on”.
Those who were present in the meeting included Rajesh Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House/Nehru Market, Deepak Gupta, General Secretary Traders Federation Ware House/Nehru Market, Kartar Gupta, President Lakhdata Bazaar Association, Rajiv Gupta, President Gummat Bazaar Association, Anoop Mittal, President Kanak Mandi Traders Association, Amit Jandyal, President Apsra Road Traders Association, Ashok Kumar Gupta, President Old Hospital Road Traders Association, Gulshan Mahajan, President Lower Raghunath Bazaar Association, Rajesh Deewan President Hari Market Association, Raju Shah, President Lower Hari Market Association, Vijay Gupta, President Lower Gummat Bazaar, Kaka Shah, President Central Basic School Association and Hari, President Readymade Wholesale Association.
