JAMMU, Nov 26: Allaying fears of Kashmiri migrants, the BJP general secretary organization Ashok Kaul has said that no decision on their return will be thrust on the community but before setting the rehabilitation process in motion, the community will be taken into confidence.
Mr Kaul stated this while addressing a meeting of Party members of Kashmir displaced district and BJP workers of Tika Lal Taploo Mandal at Jagti township near here today.
He, while reiterating the BJP’s commitment on rehabilitation of displaced people in Valley which is high on party’s agenda said that the community will be taken into confidence while finalizing the decision in this regard.
He urged the Partymen to take policies and programmes of the party to masses and announced that all the problems faced by the displaced people will be settled including appropriate steps will be taken for their rehabilitation in Valley.
He said in this regard the initiative will be taken with appointment of 3000 displaced youth and construction of 6000 quarters under PM package soon and all steps will be taken to settle the problems of employees in the Valley.
Kaul said that all steps will also be taken to launch a recruitment drive in police for displaced people also and problems faced by migrants will be taken up with Relief and Rehabilitation Minister at an earliest.
President Displaced Unit T N Bhat and other leaders also addressed the meeting.
