No decision on return without taking Pandits into confidence: MLC

JAMMU, Dec 24: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar has assured the Kashmiri Pandits that no decision on their return will be taken without taking the aspirations of the community into consideration and without consulting them.
Addressing a public Darbar here, today organized BJP Kashmir Displaced District Unit, the MLC allayed the fears of the community in this regard.
The displaced people brought various issues in the notice of the MLC during the public Darbar and he gave on spot instructions to the concerned officers who accompanied him for the redressal of the problems.
The issue of land grabbing at various places in Kashmir was also highlighted by them. The BJP Kashmir representatives also demanded grant of one time compensation in favour of over-aged youth and immediate issuance of orders for the migrant youth who have appeared in interviews under PM package. The youth expressed concern over the delaying tactics adopted by the coalition Government in this regard and demanded that orders be issued immediately.
During the public darbar the problems of Purkhoo camp inmates were also discussed which included repairs of roads, bettering of power and water supply, intensifying the bifurcation process etc. Bansi Lal Bhat president BJP Durga Mandal and general secretary, Maharaj Krishan Pandita stressed that such programmes be held in future too.
