Sir,
As is known to all that in the past there has been grave discrimination with Jammu region regarding, employment, infrastructure and other developmental activities.
History is witness that Kashmir Centric rulers (political parties) used to take lion’s share for the Valley every year from the annual budget meant for J and K.
Let me remind the Kashmir Centric politicians that despite more population and more area, Jammu region has only 36 Assembly constituencies (Seats) while as Kashmir valley has 47 seats. Why is it so? There is large scale discrimination between the two regions (Jammu and Valley) in terms of total no of employees – gazetted as well as non gazetted.
Civil secretariat the fountain head of the State administration is the best example of discrimination with Jammu. As a fact of matter majority of bureaucrats, heads of departments and other top ranking officials are from the Valley. What about this discrimination ?
Yours etc…
